Building A Networking Business Using Christian Principles Have you ever felt guilty about spending too much time building your networking business? Have you had a hard time balancing your business between your prayer and Bible study time? It can be a problem if your focus is not on your Christian walk first. From the moment you were conceived in your mothers womb, God has had a plan for your life. God not only has a plan for you, but for every person in your downline... whether they're believers or not. God created us all. Do you want to start each day guessing what God wants for your life or actually knowing what his will is? Think about it...how much more powerful would your life become if God spoke to you and said "My will for you is to build a large organization so you can use your wealth to help others succeed in my name!" You would be on fire to accomplish that which God has told you to do. God is not against his children having wealth. God is against a greed filled heart, lying, cheating, stealing, maniputlating and leading his people falsly into programs that are knowing illegal, schemes, or destined to fail. There I said it... I am the first to say I have been guilty of doing this in the past. I have been involved in money games, schemes, and programs that I did just for the money! I am not proud of these things and if you followed me into these programs and lost money, I ask for your forgiveness. I know God has forgiven me and given me a new way to build my business. I want to share this knowledge with you now. The Bible says we are to use Jesus as an example in everything we do. Before Jesus started his ministry he studied God's word and shared it with the teachers in the temple from his youth on. Jesus was so full of God's word, that the word flowed from his lips everytime he spoke. People listened and most became followers of what he taught. Why did they become followers? Was Jesus selling a new hot product that would heal them from sickness? Was he offering great weatlh to those that followed him? No, the people followed him because He spoke the truth, they believe him and wanted to be a part of his group. Jesus attracted people to him because of who he was and how his teaching changed lives. My friends you can change people lives too; through Christ. Its time for a wake up call. The truth about building a networking business is that people really don't care about what company you represent, how good your products are or how much money you promise them they can make; what they care about is changing their lives for the better. People want more free time, a better relationship with their families, living a life of successes instead of failures. People did not get an education and wait their whole lives just to own a networking business. Yes, owning a networking business can be a wonderful thing, but it is not one of those things kids dream of being when they grow up! So, why would someone want to join your business? People will follow you if you teach them the truth, as Jesus did. Teach them how to build a business based on Christian principles of honesty, caring, helping each other, loving each other as brothers and sisters, sharing our success with others and helping those that are less fortunate. Always seeking business ventures that add quality of life to people rather than taking it away through deceitful practices. People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care. When Jesus started his ministry, he would meet 12 men and ask them to follow him; his only promise was he would make these fishermen...truly, fishers of men. The whole focus of their ministry would be to learn from Jesus and teach the truth to all of the world. Today there are 2.8 billion Christians in the world. I would say that people do care about the truth. The whole Christian family today was built upon personal testimony and sharing the truth. As a Christian, that should be the foundation of your business too. If you want a successful networking business, you must first put God in charge of your business. Always promise to be truthful and honest in all you do, build a system that will help people grow in God's word and in successful business practices at the same time. Teach them the system and they will follow you into your business venture because they trust you to have already made sure the business meets the Christian criteria for success. People buy you, not the products your company sells. Make sure you are worth the price they are paying. Plug your people into a Christian Networking site where they can learn new business techniques and share their testimonies with others. A good place to meet other Christians involved in network marketing will be "Networkers in Christ". This is a social networking site that I am creating in 2009 that will allow Christians to learn about what God's word has to say about building a business and to share your business knowledge and opportunities with others. I hope to see you there. Be sure and join my monthly newsletter for more information on building your business using the word of God.
